Bioeconomia e agricoltura sostenibile

La Commissione Ue ha pubblicato il work programme provvisorio della seconda sfida sociale "Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine, maritime and inland water research and the bioeconomy" per il triennio 2018-2020. Le risorse a disposizione ammontano a più di 1,3 miliardi di euro.

Il programma di lavoro 2018-2020 finanzierà progetti che proporranno soluzioni innovative nell'amnbito di alcune delle grandi sfide chiave per il prossimo futuro, dal cambiamento climatico alla gestione sostenibile del suolo e delle acque. Queste soluzioni dovranno produrre benefici economici, sociali ed ambientali: il programma di lavoro concentrerà pertanto gli investimenti sulla tutela della biodiversità, sullo sviluppo di nuovi prodotti e tecnologie che siano in grado di migliorare i modelli di produzione e di consumo in Europa.

Call 1 - Sustainable Food Security

Il primo bando è dedicato alla sicurezza alimentare sostenibile ed intende sviluppare sistemi alimentari efficienti, dal punto di vista delle risorse e delle emissioni inquinanti. I progetti finanziati contribuiranno a creare le condizioni necessarie per la diffusione di metodi di coltivazione e produzione alimentare dinamici ed innovativi.

Call 2 - Blue Growth

Scopo del secondo bando è supportare la crescita sostenibile nei settori marino e marittimo attraverso una gestione responsabile delle risorse.
La call finanzierà interventi a sostegno della blue economy, al fine di migliorare la conoscenza degli ecosistemi marini - tenendo in considerazione l'impatto che il cambiamento climatico ha su di essi - e di rafforzare la cooperazione internazionale nel campo della ricerca e dell'innovazione.
